Company certification according to IIW MCS ISO 3834

The International Institute of Welding (IIW) appoints an Authorised National Body for Company Certification (ANBCC) under its Manufacturers Certification Scheme (MCS) for certifying companies employing fusion welding processes in manufacturing activities as per provisions of ISO 3834.

KazWeld has obtained accreditation as the Authorized National Body for Company Certification (ANBCC) from the International Institute of Welding through its International Authorisation Board (IAB) for the exclusive rights within Kazakhstan to operate its MCS for certification of companies for compliance to the requirements of ISO 3834 "Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials".

Companies around Kazakhstan and the world are now adopting the International Institute of Welding (IIW) Manufacturer Certification Scheme According to ISO 3834 in order to become more competitive with welded products in the global market place.

HOW TO BECOME CERTIFIED TO IIW MCS ISO 3834

  1. The company completes and returns  the application documentation;
  2. Follow review of this documentation;
  3. An assessment process will be conducted;
  4. Successful applicants will be issued with an IIW certificate indicating the standard(s) against which certification has been achieved;
  5. Register of the company and details of its capability (product types, welding processes, base materials, etc) in KazWeld website;
  6. The certificate is subject to satisfactory annual surveillance and 5-year periodic re-assessment.
