On September 24, 2013 on the basis of association KazWeld, Technical Committee TC82 "Welding and allied processes " under the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (Minutes №- 485) was established with the following subcommittees:

  • Subcommittee 1 - The technology of welding and allied processes
  • Subcommittee 2 - Inspection and testing of welds and joints
  • Subcommittee 3 - Welding equipment and materials
  • Subcommittee 4 – Personnel certification

The purposes of the Technical Committee:

  • Ensure the implementation of the Law On Technical Regulation;
  • Develop and improve the work on standardization «Welding and allied processes» at national and international levels;
  • Ensure the compliance of standardization in welding and allied processes with the interest of the national economy and scientific and technological process.
