Our History

The Kazakhstan Welding Project initiative was presented on 4 December 2009 in Astana at the 22nd Plenary Session of the Foreign Investors’ Council under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The initiative was proposed by the French oil and gas company Total.

Supported by the country’s leadership and the Government of Kazakhstan, the project aimed to develop a national system for training welding personnel in accordance with international requirements and to meet industry’s need for qualified specialists.
