International qualifications and quality in welding
KazWeld supports the development of welding in Kazakhstan through personnel qualification and the application of international welding quality requirements.
We work with specialists, training bodies and companies, from the preparation and qualification of welding personnel to the certification of welding manufacturers.
Our main activities
Personnel education and qualification
Qualification of welding personnel under International Institute of Welding (IIW) programmes, from International Welder to International Welding Engineer and Welding Inspector. Examination and issuance of international diplomas within the scope of KazWeld’s authorization.
Practical training for welding personnel
Authorization of training bodies
Assessment and authorization of training bodies delivering IIW programmes. Support for the development of training facilities and the quality of education.
Company certification to ISO 3834
Assessment and certification of manufacturers under the IIW Manufacturer Certification Scheme in accordance with ISO 3834, “Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials”.
Welding personnel certification
Certification of welding coordinators, welders, welding operators and brazers in accordance with applicable international standards and certification schemes.
